  1. Mix all the ingredients for marination and let it rest for 2 hrs.
  2. Saute the onions, tomatoes and chillies on the pan until soft and blend them to make a paste.
  3. Fry the marinated chicken until golden brown and pick them up from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, add paste and butter and saute for 3-4 mins.
  5. Add garlic ginger paste, salt, turneric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and tomato ketchup, mix them well and let it cook for 5-8 mins.
  6. Add chicken, mix it with the paste and let it cook for another 2-3 mins.
  7. Add water for desired consistency for gravy and crush methi/fenugreek on top. Let it cook for 2-3 mins
  8. Serve hot with naan or pulao.
