The ingredients needed to make Methi pulav:
  1. Prepare methi leaves
  2. Prepare basmati rice
  3. Get onion
  4. Make ready Boiled 1 potato, 2 carrots and beans
  5. Get coconut
  6. Make ready ghee
  7. Get Cardamom
  8. Take cloves
  9. Make ready cinnamon stick
  10. Prepare poppy seeds
  11. Take coriander leaves
  12. Get bay leaf
  13. Prepare green peas

Which is a very good confluence of fenugreek properties along with the finest taste of casserole. Methi paneer pulav is a delicious rice delicacy. Methi (fenugreek) leaves are mildly bitter in taste, having significant medicinal values. Healthy Pulao/Pulav prepared with chopped Methi or Fenugreek leaves, Cashews and spicy ingredients mixed with cooked Rice and Kabuli Chana.

Instructions to make Methi pulav:
  1. Soak basmati rice in water for at least 30 minutes. Soak more time for better texture
  2. In a pan take ghee + cumin seeds + bay leaf + cinnamon stick. Sauté for awhile and ginger garlic paste and onions and sauté until it turns golden brown
  3. In a mixer take coconut + coriander leaves + poppy seeds+ cardamom + cloves + green chilli and grind a rough mixture
  4. Now add methi leaves to the pan and sauté for few minutes. Add the mixture from step 2 here and mix well.
  5. Now add half boiled vegetables + green peas salt + cashews + bisibele bath powder + lemon. Once it boils add soaked basmati rice and add equal proportion of water and cook for 20 minutes in medium flame.
  6. Serve it hot with salad

Methi (fenugreek) leaves are mildly bitter in taste, having significant medicinal values. Healthy Pulao/Pulav prepared with chopped Methi or Fenugreek leaves, Cashews and spicy ingredients mixed with cooked Rice and Kabuli Chana.
