  1. preheat oven to 350°
  2. brown hamburger meat and chopped onion
  3. add ur minced garlic about 5mins before the meat is done. Drain and return to pan.
  4. In the mean time while ur meat is cooking, spray a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray
  5. place a few tater tots at the bottom of ur pan. You don't need to use a lot, just enough to coat the pan but still having plenty of gaps.
  6. mix together the remaining ingredients in with ur meat expect the cheese! Feel free to taste and go, as u may want to add extra seasonings or less.
  7. poor the meat mixer on top of the tots, spread out evenly!
  8. add cheese on top, whatever works for you. Some like a lot, and some prefer very little.
  9. place the remaining tots on top of the cheese and baked for an hr
  10. Once your timer goes off, add a little extra cheese and put back in the oven until melted. Maybe 2 or 3 mins tops!
  11. For people that don't like cream of mushroom, I am sure cream of chicken would work as well. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as we have. It is not normal for my whole family to enjoy dinner together. Usually there is at least 1 who doesn't but not in this case ;-)
