  4. You can add a small amount of finely chopped onions and lemon juice if you'd like. You can also add some squeezed lime juice, which is also delicious.

The sauce originates from Argentina and Uruguay, where it is traditionally used to dress grilled meats. Usually paired with meat, chimichurri sauce plays off of grilled bass just as beautifully, as long as you use a light vinegar like champagne or rice wine, rather than balsamic. Chimichurri is an Argentinian uncooked herb sauce.
