  5. Slowly add cream stirring constantly. Bring sauce to your desired thickness, I try to shoot for a thick gravy consistency. Add bouillon and cheese. Stir well. Add chicken back to the pan and heat through.
  6. Plate chicken. Add desired garnish. Serve with beans and rice if desired. Enjoy.

I have wanted to create pollo a la crema at home for my Mexican husband for months. I did change the recipe a little. I used chicken tenders to reduce prep time and added sliced onions and mushrooms.
